"One Note Ear Training with Degrees" is a commonly
requested alternate version to the "Ear
Training One Note Series." This download gives you the
answer as a "Degree" of the key center of C rather than a note
name. This important distinction helps a student master
their skills with degree recognition within a key center which
is an important skill from both a music theory and ear training
perspective. Learning degrees will help you transfer your
"one note" skills to every key because degrees relationships
stay the same in all key centers. This download contains
cadences in both a Major and a minor key center. All 184
MP3s examples are in the key of C.
This download does not contain a book. It is recommended
that you first work with the "Ear
Training One Note Complete Book" which uses note names so
that you can fully understand this method ear training method
before attempting the degrees exercises.
