This book and accompanying audio CD presents
method of developing relative pitch ear training. This
method
does not
use intervals as a means of teaching ear training but rather
teaches
aural recognition through hearing sounds in relationship to a key
center. It has been used with
great success by thousands of students over the last 25 years and
will
significantly change your ability to hear music through daily
repetition. There are three
levels available Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced. The
only
difference between these levels is the speed a which you hear the
exercise. Starting with the intermediate
level is recommended for most students. Since ear training
is
such a
personal experience Mr. Arnold has answered many questions from

The intermediate level is also a good place to start if you are teaching a child ear training.
