This book contains all melodic combinations within a two octave range for Pitch Class Set 025 and it's inversion.   Among other applications these type of melodic lines are useful for large leap melodies and "sheets of sound" type applications.  These exercises advance technique facility along with melodic ideas for soloing and composing.

Suggested practice schedule: One page should be learned each day and applied to musical situations.  Each example should be played cycle 5.  You should also change the phrasing by starting on and off the beat.  i.e. start on 1, 1and, 2, 2and etc...  Please use vamps in the member's area for backing tracks to correctly hear the key center.
