INSIDE FLAP
Through my years of teaching I have come across many students who have developed right hand problems because of improper technique. Their problems ranged from slow and inaccurate execution to tendonitis. Some of these students had quit completely because of pain before they came to me. This book covers the techniques I use to help students get a strong and healthy right hand that they can use for a life time of playing. It is important to mention that if you are picking this book up for the first time because you have already injured yourself by repetitive movement, you must work into to this book very slowly and never play through pain.
Although I have provided you with many exercises to help develop your right hand technique it is important that you apply this method to your own style of playing. Use common sense when practicing the exercises. Always start slowly, watch yourself in a mirror to make sure you are using the correct movement, then finally, apply your new technique to your own musical ideas.
There are 24 exercises presented in the back of this book. Each exercise is accompanied by an audio example. The audio examples use midi files.
