This book is the first of a series of ear training and sight singing books. The method presented here differs greatly from the ear training commonly taught at the college level. Having experienced the common university method of ear training and sight singing I can tell you that it is possible to get an A in a course and to get a diploma, and then find oneself unable to get up on the bandstand and correctly hear what other people are playing. If this is your situation I greatly advise you to check out the method presented in this book.
