WHAT WE ARE ABOUT

Whether you are a beginner or a professional player, if you are serious about advancing your musicianship further, this help area is for you.   At Muse Eek we believe that a great musician is someone who is well grounded in all aspects of music; Technique, Ear Training, Time, Sensitivity and Knowledge all combine to make a true virtuoso. Use this area to guide you to information tailored to your personal needs in the form of books, CDs or DVDs.  The links below will guide you to that information.

For those of you who are new to our site, Muse-eek.com publishes books that are not guided by what sells the most, but by what will truly help you learn. They are based on tested techniques that help raise a person's musicianship skills to their highest level.  This information is not spoon fed in hopes that you might get interested;  it is assumed you are already dedicated and want to develop to your highest potential.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Over our years of publishing we have come to know that people take in information differently; the same sentence can often be interpreted many ways by several people.  That is fine for poetry, but practicing the wrong way can not only be a waste of time but something that can severely hurt a musician's chances of succeeding.  Muse Eek believes that if you provide students with detailed explanations of common questions along with videos, MP3s, midifiles, PDFs, live internet broadcasts and private and ichat lessons these kinds of pitfalls can be avoided.

Most of our books have help files in all or some of the formats listed above.  These files are located in various sections of our website but most can be found in the member's section.  You have free access to this member's section once you have purchased a book.

WE HEAR YOU

The author, Bruce Arnold, also answers questions for students, but we encourage you first to read the FAQs for each book.  Mr. Arnold has been answering his student's questions for over ten years, so it's more than likely that your question is already in the FAQ section.  Mr. Arnold will also help you sent up a practice schedule with his books to help you organize your time.  Offering this service is extraordinary, but it shows his dedication to helping a student get started or continue their path towards great musicianship.

This site is dedicated to the art of music and to the standards that are used among professional musicians.  Therefore you will not find tablature and other substandard methods of expressing music.   This is not to say that a total beginner has no place here.  We are keenly aware of the misunderstandings and special needs of a beginning musician.  We have many books specifically for beginners with help files to make sure you understand each concept. They will give you the solid foundation you need to tackle more challenging future studies.

This site also has very advanced information geared toward the professional musician who desires to take their playing to a higher level.

The links below will help you choose what books might be best for you in your current situation.  If you feel your situation is unique please email us and we will consider your needs on a personal level.

Best Regards,

The Muse Eek Publishing Staff

Let us first say that we believe that all musicians need to develop their ear training skills.  We strongly urge you to read the information about our ear training books.  All books that we publish relate back to these books because they are key to understanding music.
